SYLVIA E. CATALAN Peacefully, on April 10, 2009 Sylvia passed away at the Deer Lodge Center at the age of 78. Her memory will be cherished by her son Jaime (Nancy); grandsons Michael (Jessica) and Christopher. Mom was born in Santiago, Chile and immigrated to Canada with her husband and two children in 1975. Being a teacher in her country it was difficult to find work in her profession. She became involved in the International Center to assist with new immigrants in translating and tutoring, she was a great help to many new immigrants ranging from Central and South America. She lived a full life and she loved her many pets. Family was very important to her and she held a special place in her heart for her grandsons. Sylvia's wisdom will be missed. At her request cremation has taken place and a private service was held. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
